Because You Care Animal Rescue has been helping dogs and cats in need of rescue since 1981. As a no-kill shelter, we rely soley on donations, grants and fundraising events to assist in our life-saving work. This kind of funding is essential to maintain our no-kill mission.
All funds raised at our Bands for a Second Chance will directly benefit our Second Chance Program.

The Second Chance Program started in November 2023 on Belinda's second birthday. Because You Care hopes to continue to help other dogs in need of more extensive training in order to be successful in their forever home. This program will pave the way for dog's who need that extra guidance to prepare them for adoption.
