AUGUST 1.2021 ... This year as part of the Lake Erie Cyclefest, the Second Annual "See Spot Ride"- Bike Ride for Rescue will take place on the lovely backroads of McKean Township.
Choose one of two rides to benefit the cats and dogs of Because You Care...
-40-mile challenging ride (It is McKean after all!)
-25-mile Be Ready for Some Hills ride
START: McKean Elementary School Parking Lot, 5120 West Rd. McKean where you will park, register, and get your See Spot Ride Goodies, your map, and your BYC Bucks to spend at the end of your ride.
Registration begins at 10:00
814 Outdoor Sports will be there to help you get your bike ready to ride.
40 mile begins at 10:30
25 mile begins at 11:00

Gather at our Adoption Center for fun, music by BB2 ( duo version of the famous Blues Beaters) , a cold beer, The Straw Hat Ice Cream and relaxation after a long ride. Hot off the Press Food Truck will be ready to serve,

-All rides will be marked and color-coded...watch for your colored Paw Print painted on the pavement
-Rest stops for each ride will be available to refresh your water bottle and boost your energy with snacks
-12 and under rides for free and do not need to register
-All riders must wear helmets
-All rides are tours and will not be timed
-All riders must obey Pennsylvania Bicycle Laws
-A Short 1.2 mile ride back to your car along West Rd. But PLEASE, for your safety, walk your bike down our steep driveway!!!
